How can I become a peer support team member?

Contact us if you're interested in receiving the training to become a peer counselor. Upon successful completion of the training and interview, trainees may be certified through the Department of Public Safety, therefore covered by the peer privilege bill!

The training is set up in different ways at locations throughout the state. It is POST certified training.

PLEASE do not contact MLEOTA about registration as we are responsible for those details. They are kind enough to sponsor the training - we don't want to burden them with calls about information for which they aren't responsible.

To register, please
get in touch with Tim Rutledge here.
